Never before had I felt that my actions truly made a difference in the lives of others or that an experience could connect me with a community for life. A small group of committed individuals really can make an incredible difference and they are my inspiration today to continue positively changing the lives of others.” - Narelle Couper, Costa Rica | | | | PROGRAM FAST FACTS: | | Location: | Costa Rica, Central America | | Duration: | 8 - 10 weeks | | Dates (approx): | June - August; December - February | | Project areas: | Conservation, Health, Education, Gender Equality | | | | | PROGRAM OVERVIEW: | YCA has been involved with over 150 community-identified development projects in Costa Rica, providing the opportunity for remote community development since 1992.
