Youth Challenge Vanuatu (YCV) was founded in Port Vila in 2001. YCV is not-for-profit and non-religious. YCV is part of the Youth Challenge International alliance which has been implementing community development projects for 15 years around the world. YCV works with partner organisations in Australia, Canada, Guatemala, India, Central Australia, Costa Rica, and Guyana.

Youth Challenge Vanuatu has two main focus areas. A number of Youth Programs for youth based in Port Vila and Community Projects based in rural communities around Vanuatu. The YCA program is made up of two separate parts, the Youth Programs and Community Projects. For the Community Projects YCV undertake project identification and implementation and the Future leaders voluinteers. The Youth Programs are made up of 4 separate programs which are:
